Nchanga Secondary Trust School Visits INFRATEL

INFRATEL was honoured to host 81 enthusiastic Grade 9 learners from Nchanga Trust School, a KCM-run institution in Chingola, for an educational tour of our facilities.

Hailing from one of Zambia’s key mining regions, the learners arrived with sharp curiosity and thoughtful questions, eager to explore how ICT infrastructure supports economic productivity and national development. Their interest in telecommunications towers, data centre operations, fibre networks, and digital connectivity sparked engaging conversations with our technical teams.

The visiting group were accompanied by their dedicated educators, led by Mr Lawrence Kunda, alongside Mr Lumai Mubanga, Mrs Cecilia Nyirenda, Mrs Janet Karabbassis, and Mr Joseph Sikanyika. Together, they created an atmosphere of active learning and meaningful exchange.

At INFRATEL, we believe education extends beyond the classroom. By opening our doors to young learners, we hope to inspire future careers in ICT, telecommunications, and STEM, while reinforcing the importance of digital infrastructure in shaping Zambia’s future.
