INFRATEL is one of the largest telecommunication infrastructure providers in Zambia that owns and operates more than 1200 communication towers, 3 Data Centers, a wide range of cloud services and operates an Optic Fibre network which it leverages to provide wholesale telecommunications infrastructure as a service to MNOs, ISPs, Government, organizations and other licensed entities.

Our Goals
Cut Wastage Of Investment In Telecommunications Infrastructure
INFRATEL shall consolidate telecommunication infrastructure currently owned by various Government institutions. Operators and other institutions will therefore not need to invest in similar telecommunications infrastructure that will be made available through INFRATEL. This is expected to cut down on duplication of investment in ICT and Telecommunications infrastructure.
Facilitate For Operators To Focus On Service Excellence
With investments in passive telecommunications infrastructure and associated operations and maintenance out of the way, Telecom operators can focus resources and attention on achieving service excellence for improved Quality of Experience. Telecommunications operators can focus on the core business of getting service delivered to the end users.
Reduce Cost Of Entry And OPEX For Operators
The high cost of passive infrastructure, such as towers and server hardware, makes it very difficult for Operators to grow their network and service offerings. INFRATEL’s infrastructure share model facilitates for one-time investment to be shared by all operators. This is true for both communications tower infrastructure and data center infrastructure.
