What is Microsoft Azure Stack on INFRATEL?
Microsoft Azure Stack is Microsoft’s hybrid cloud platform hosted locally in Zambia by INFRATEL, allowing you to run Azure services within a secure, in country environment.
What makes it different from public Azure?
With INFRATEL Azure Stack, your data never leaves Zambia. You get the same Azure experience but with lower latency, reduced costs, and local compliance.
Who is eligible for the 35% discount?
The offer is open to legally registered Zambian businesses - both new customers and existing INFRATEL clients expanding their services.
What is the campaign period?
The campaign runs from 27 May to 30 November 2025. Sign up early to maximise your discount period.
Is this offer available to individual users or SMEs?
Yes, as long as you are a registered business entity. The offer applies to businesses of all sizes, depending on your cloud usage needs.
What services are included in Azure Stack?
You can deploy IaaS, PaaS, virtual machines, storage, Kubernetes, and more, just like in global Azure.
Can we integrate with existing Microsoft licenses or tools?
Yes. Azure Stack is fully compatible with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and existing Azure subscriptions via hybrid cloud integration.
Is the environment secure?
Absolutely. Azure Stack is protected by Microsoft’s enterprise grade security protocols, combined with INFRATEL’s Tier III data centre standards and localized compliance.
Where is my data physically hosted?
Your data is hosted securely within INFRATEL’s local data centres in Zambia. It never leaves the country.

How much can I save with this campaign?
Depending on your Monthly Recurring Commitment (MRC), you can save 20% to 35% on Azure Stack services for the first 6 months.
What are the pricing tiers?
- Up to K74,999/month → 20% off
- K75,000–K149,999/month → 25% off
- K150,000+/month → 35% off
How long does the discount last?
The discount applies for the first 6 months of your 12 month contract.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. Pricing is transparent and inclusive. Any optional services or additional features will be clearly quoted.
Can I pay in local currency?
Yes. Billing is done in Kwacha (ZMW), with flexible options to suit your business. Terms and Conditions apply.
Is a long term contract required?
Yes. The offer is only valid with a 12 month minimum contract.
Can I cancel before 12 months?
Early termination may forfeit your discount and incur applicable penalties as per contract terms.
Will I get support with migration?
Yes. INFRATEL provides full onboarding and migration assistance at an additional fee to be agreed based on the scope of work.
Is this solution compliant with Zambia’s data protection laws?
Yes. All data is stored and processed in country in full compliance with Zambia’s Data Protection Act.
Can I bundle Azure Stack with other INFRATEL services?
Absolutely. We encourage bundling with colocation, connectivity, or managed services for more value and simplified operations.
