INFRATEL Back to School Challenge 2025: Empowering Learners, Strengthening Communities

Wearing School Uniforms to Inspire and Connect

INFRATEL Corporation Limited proudly hosted the Back-to-School Challenge 2025, a flagship activity under the My INFRATEL, My Pride campaign. In a symbolic act of solidarity, INFRATEL staff dressed in school uniforms to align with learners who had just reopened schools on 8th September. This thoughtful gesture created a bond of relatability, reminding students that learning is a lifelong journey.

As part of the challenge, employee teams visited selected schools: Chainda Basic, Kabulonga Girls, Munali Secondary, and Chamba Valley Basic to carry out a range of educational activities. These included:

  1. Mentorship sessions, where learners engaged with professionals who shared insights on career development and personal growth.
  2. Digital literacy workshops, equipping students with foundational skills to thrive in the digital age.
  3. Career guidance talks, inspiring learners to pursue diverse opportunities within Zambia’s growing knowledge economy.
  4. Donations of essential learning materials, providing resources that directly support academic progress.

The uniforms worn by staff did more than spark smiles they broke down barriers, placed employees on common ground with the learners, and reinforced the campaign’s central message: education unites us all.

The Back-to-School Challenge demonstrated the central theme of My INFRATEL, My Pride 2025; The Power of One. Staff from across departments united with a shared purpose, reflecting the strength of collective action.
